I have never noticed how closely these logos resemble each other. Bill Snyder who owned Iowa State while head coach of the Kansas State Wildcats hails form the Hayden Fry coaching tree. Snyder along with many other famous Head Coaches that once coached under Hayden Fry went on to Kansas State and turned the Wildcats into a national football power. One of the first things Fry did when he went to Iowa was change the Logo. Hayden Fry had a system and it worked. Snyder although not as flamboyant as Fry on the personality side, appears to have copied much of the Fry model down to the logo. You can be the judge, what say you?
