Kansas Preview.

If we lose, I'll be Puking too
Kansas is not good.   ISU should play Kansas similar to what they did against UNLV.   End of Story.   But, keep you airsickness bag close just in case.

Looking ahead.   After the Kansas victory this weekend, Iowa State is on bye the following weekend.   Que for some yard work and last minute fall preparations.  Hang those Halloween decorations for the kids and the neighbors.

After the bye, Iowa State enters a tough October streak of football (at ISU we call it prime time).   First ISU travels to Manhattan, KS to face the K-State Wildcats who is always a thorn in the saddle of the Cyclones.   2nd installment after the bye is a home game against the OK-State Cowboys.   The Cowboys are repeatedly a well coach team and sturdy opponent.  3rd October game IA-State travels to Morgantown, WV to face the Mountaineers - who have played very well this fall.   Final stage of the October test (actually Nov. 6) is our old friend the Texas Longhorns in Ames.  This run of fun has a smell of a loss or possibly 2 thru this stretch.   I know I'm supposed to be an Iowa State homer, but the Cyclones have made me cynical and down right not confident in this squad at all.

This group of 4 teams has 4 losses total among this foursome.   Texas lost to Arkansas (Top 25), Kansas State lone loss was to OK-State.   West Virginia lost to Maryland 4-0, and Oklahoma 4-0 both teams are Top 25.   Ok-State is 4-0 and co-leader in The Big 12 along with Baylor, and Oklahoma.   This looks to be a pesky foursome with a pack of punch.
